Abstract
A compound represented by the formula (1) having controlling effects on harmful organisms can be produced by cyclizing a compound represented by the formula (2) in the presence of an organic sulfonic acid and acetic anhydride in a solvent, while removing water and acetic acid to the outside of the system.
