Abstract
System and apparatus are provided to adjust resource configuration. In one aspect, a radio network controller sends configuration information of an uplink common enhanced dedicated transport channel E-DCH resource pool to a base station, where the configuration information of E-DCH resource pool includes information of a first resource pool to which a first transmission time interval corresponds and information of a second resource pool to which a second transmission time interval corresponds. The base station sends indication information according to usage of at least one of the first and second resource pools to the radio network controller. Configuration of the first resource pool can be adjusted according to the indication information. The size of the resource pool can be dynamically adjusted in instances where a plurality of transmission time intervals coexist.
