Abstract
A control valve () for a camshaft adjustment device, and to an internal combustion engine having a camshaft adjustment device and a control valve () is provided. The control valve () includes a valve housing () and a pressure medium guiding insert () arranged coaxially in a recess of the valve housing (). A discharge passage () of the pressure medium guiding insert () transitions into a discharge duct () running in the axial direction, wherein the discharge connection T can be connected to the control connections A, B and wherein the discharge connection T is arranged in a region between the second end (), which is opposite the first end (), and the control connections A, B.
