Abstract
A lockset () is actuable by pivoting a lever () about a longitudinal axis of the lockset () by rotating the lever () and by pivoting the lever () about an axis transverse to the lockset axis, such as by pushing or pulling. The lockset () includes an inside lever () and an outside lever (), each associated with an independent mechanism, each of which can independently actuate the lockset (). A keyed locking cylinder () is disposed axially in the outside lever () and pivots with the outside lever (). The keyed lock cylinder () has an opening that pivotably engages an actuator (). The actuator () extends into a retractor assembly () of the lockset () and is configured to perform an unlocking or locking function when actuated.
