Abstract

A composition for use in the prevention and/or treatment of colorectal cancer in a patient, comprising: a) a compound of Formula (I), where R, R, and Rare, each one and independently, hydrogen or a protector group, wherein said protector group may consist of an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a heterocyclic cycloalkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, a halogenated alkyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic aryl group, an alkylaryl group, an ester group, a carbonate group, a carboxylic acid group, an aldehyde group, a ketone group, a urethane group, a silyl group, a sulfoxide group or a combination thereof;R, R, R, R, Rand Rare, each one and independently, hydrogen, hydroxyl or an —ORgroup, where Ris a protector group according to the previous definition; andb) at least one chemotherapeutic agent.
