Abstract
When able to communicate with a control server, a POS terminalupdates a transaction information management databasewith transaction information data based on a transaction process. The POS terminalstores the transaction information data when not able to communicate, and when communication is enabled again, causes the control serverto update the transaction information management databasebased on the stored transaction information data. If queried for specific transaction information data while unable to communicate with the control serverand the requested transaction information data is not stored locally, the POS terminalqueries other POS terminalsthrough the local area network LN for the specific transaction information data.
