Abstract
A full color display device in which each pixel can display at least seven different optical states. Each pixel comprises two subpixels, and each subpixel includes a respective subpixel electrode driven by a driver. The electrophoretic fluid includes four types of particles, dispersed in a solvent or solvent mixture and each subpixel can display at least four different color states.
