Abstract
A method for measuring an air volume of a blower motor, including: a) establishing M constant air volume control functions Qi=F(n) corresponding to M air volume points CFMin a microprocessor of a motor controller; b) starting the motor, measuring a real-time rotational speed nand a parameter Qof the motor after the motor runs in a stable state, putting the parameter Qinto the functions Qi=F(n) to obtain multiple rotational speeds n, comparing the real-time rotational speed nwith the multiple rotational speeds ncorresponding to the multiple air volume points CFM, and determining a real-time detected air volume CFMwhich falls within two air volumes CFMand CFM; and c) calculating the real-time detected air volume CFMaccording to the two air volumes CFMand CFMand the rotational speeds nand nusing an interpolation method.
