Abstract
The preset invention relates to a new approach for treating a cancer, particularly a malignant tumor, a multidrug-resistant (MDR) cancer, a recurrent cancer or a metastatic cancer, using a specific cationic antimicrobial peptide (CAP), tilapia piscidin 4 (TP4), which is derived from Nile Tilapia (). Also provided is a method for treating a breast cancer, particularly triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) with TP4.
