Abstract
A monitoring sensor for a sealed secondary batteryincluding a sealed outer casingand an electrode groupaccommodated in the inside of the sealed outer casing, including a polymer matrix layerthat is disposed in the inside of the outer casingand a detection unitthat is disposed on the outside of the outer casing, wherein the polymer matrix layercontains a filler that is dispersed therein and that changes an external field in accordance with deformation of the polymer matrix layer, and the detection unitdetects change in the external field.
