The invention relates to a high pressure fuel pump () comprising a housing () and a flange () by means of which the housing () can be fastened to an engine block or cylinder head, the flange () being formed of at least two flange parts () that are separate from the housing () and are separated from each other, and that overlap mutually in the fastened state of the housing ().
