Abstract
It is proposed a method for verifying configuration changes in a Self-Organizing Network comprising a plurality of verification areas, in which each verification areas at least one network element is installed. The method comprises observinga configuration change within a verification area affecting one or more network elements; computinga virtual temperature value for the affected network elements, wherein the virtual temperature value indicates a stability state of the network element; distributingthe computed virtual temperature value; receivingthe computed virtual temperature value; triggeringa verification mechanism; and evaluatingthe virtual temperature value of the given verification area.
