Abstract

An electric compressor () includes a compression mechanism (); an electric motor () driving the compression mechanism (), the electric motor having an axis of rotation (X); and an electric motor () power supply inverter (), the inverter () being mounted in an inverter housing (). The compression mechanism () is mounted in a compression housing (), and the electric motor () is mounted in a motor housing () extending longitudinally along the axis of rotation (X) and having a first end (P) connected to the inverter housing () by a plurality of securing devices () extending inside the motor housing (). The motor housing () includes a second end (S) located opposite the first end (P) in relation to the electric motor () and connected to the compression housing () by a plurality of securing devices () different from the above-mentioned securing devices ().
