Abstract
A space required for forming a cylindrical carcass band is reduced and productivity of carcass band forming is improved. A first forming drum () forms a cylindrical carcass ply (). A second forming drum () forms a cylindrical member () by forming a cylindrical inner liner () and combining the inner liner () with the carcass ply (). A third forming drum () forms a cylindrical side member () a carcass band () by forming a cylindrical side member () and combining the side member () with the cylindrical member (). A conveying device () conveys the carcass ply () from the first forming drum () to the second forming drum () and conveys the cylindrical member () from the second forming drum () to the third forming drum (). The third forming drum () is arranged below an arrangement space for the first forming drum () and the second forming drum ().
