Abstract
Mitigation of long and short-term detrimental effects of exposure to low dose ionizing radiation by administration of genistein in the form of a nanosuspension to a mammal in an amount effective for achieving genistein serum levels of between 1-5 μM in the mammal throughout a time period from exposure to the ionizing radiation to twelve hours after exposure to the ionizing radiation.
