Abstract
A board connector () includes a receptacle () fittable to a mating connector and fixing members () for fixing the receptacle () to a circuit board (). The receptacle () is in the form of a rectangular tube and has a pair of side walls () facing each other in a width direction and a bottom wall () and a ceiling wall () facing each other in a height direction. At least either the side walls () or the bottom wall () include(s) mounting recesses () for mounting the fixing members () within a wall thickness between an inner side surface and an outer side surface of the receptacle ().
