Abstract
A carbon atmosphere thermometerhas: a thermocouple having thermocouple wires, a thermocouple temperature measuring junction, and an insulating tube; a first protection tubesurrounding the thermocouple, while at least partially spaced apart from the thermocouple wiresand others of the thermocouple; and a second protection tubesurrounding the first protection tube, while at least partially spaced apart from the first protection tube. For this reason, it becomes feasible to protect the thermocouple from the external environment, while preventing the thermocouple from reacting with the first protection tube. Furthermore, it becomes feasible to protect the thermocouple and the first protection tubefrom the external environment, while preventing the first protection tubefrom reacting with the second protection tube
