Abstract
For a valve closing device (), including an output shaft () for connecting a valve () and an input shaft () for connecting an actuating drive (), it is provided that an emergency drive () for driving the output shaft () in the event of a mains power failure is designed as a constant force spring motor () and/or a force flow from the emergency drive () to the output shaft () is merged with a force flow from the input shaft () to the output shaft () by an overriding gear arrangement () and/or the emergency drive () is locked and released by a locking device ().
