Abstract
This invention relates to a lightning current transfer system adapted for usage in a wind turbine (W) having a hub () rotatably supported relative to a nacelle () and a plurality of pitchable blades () connected with the hub (). The system () comprises a blade band () mountable to the root of the blade () and a lightning ring () mountable to the nacelle (). The lightning ring () and the blade band () are positioned relative to each other to form a spark gap (SG) there between.
