Abstract

In a first aspect, the present invention concerns a kit for a polymerizable composition comprising a portion A constituted by a composition comprising at least one monomer (a1) that is reactive towards a cationic species (b) or a Lewis or Brönsted acid species, and at least one co-initiator, and a portion B comprising at least one cationic salt (e) selected from the salts with formula S1, S3, and S4 shown and defined in claim. In a second aspect, the present invention concerns a method of producing a coating or a composite material starting from polymerizable composition comprising at least one salt (e) selected from the salts with formula S1, S2, S3, and S4 shown and defined in claim, said composition being polymerized without adding external heat thereto.
