Abstract

A catalyst component comprising Ti, Mg, Cl, and an electron donor compound having porosity of at least 0.2 cm/g and characterized by the fact that it further comprises Cu oxide, with the proviso that when the electron donor compound is selected from esters of phthalic acids, the porosity is of at least 0.45 cm/g.
