Abstract
Exemplary systems for small volume collection for a breastpump system are provided. The systems allow breast milk to flow directly from the breastshield to the collection container without leaving the control volume. A valve is present outside of the milk flow path that does not contact breast milk prior to the milk reaching a collection vessel.
