A method of antagonizing P2Xand/or P2Xreceptors or treating a disease misregulation of P2Xand/or P2Xreceptors treating a patient with a compound of formula I wherein R, R, R, R, Rand Rare as defined herein, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. wherein, Ris optionally substituted tetrazolyl, Ris optionally substituted phenyl, optionally substituted pyridinyl or optionally substituted thienyl, and R, R, Rand Rare as defined herein. Also provided are methods of using the compounds for treating diseases associated with the P2Xand/or a P2Xreceptor antagonist and methods of making the compounds.
