Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a pre-5-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present invention relates to an antenna structure for signal radiation in a transmission device. An apparatus for signal radiation includes a feeding unit configured to radiate a signal, and a guiding unit, that consists of a plurality of elements physically spaced from one another, configured to adjust a radiation pattern of the signal radiated by the feeding unit by generating a radio wave in a Transverse Electric (TE) mode. Further, the present invention also includes embodiments different from the above-described embodiment.
