Abstract
Disclosed is a lithium secondary battery, including a cathode, an anode and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the cathode includes a cathode active material containing lithium-metal oxide of which at least one of metals has a concentration gradient region between a core part and a surface part thereof, and the anode includes hard carbon having an average lattice distance (d) in the range of 3.6 to 3.8 Å and graphite having-an average lattice distance (d) in the range of 3.356 to 3.360 Å, such that output and high-temperature storage properties may be improved.
