Abstract
The present invention relates to a winding device () and a method for winding a frame () to produce a fiber material blank (). For this, a frame () is clamped in a clamping device and put into rotation about a rotational axis () by a drive (). According to the invention it is provided that fixing pins () are folded down during the passing of a thread () to be wound.
