Abstract

An image processing device includes a reception unit and a recognition unit. The reception unit receives an input image signal and a synchronization signal including a signal pattern. In a case in which the signal pattern corresponds to a predetermined prescribed pattern, the recognition unit recognizes the synchronization signal as a genuine synchronization signal to be used to generate an output image signal on a basis of the input image signal.
