Abstract

A current collector for a secondary battery () of the present invention includes a resin layer () having electrical conductivity, and an ion barrier layer () provided on the surface of the resin layer (). The ion barrier layer () contains ion trapping particles () in which metal compounds () are provided on the surfaces of metal containing particles (). The ion trapping particles () are continuously provided from an interface () between the resin layer () and the ion barrier layer () toward a surface () of the ion barrier layer (). Thus, the ion barrier layer () prevents from the entry of ions, so that the ion adsorption in the current collector () can be decreased.
