Abstract
The present disclosure provides a sterilized chlorhexidine product that comprises a package and a sterilized chlorhexidine article. The package defines an interior volume. The sterilized chlorhexidine article comprises a sterilized applicator and a sterilized antiseptic composition. The sterilized antiseptic composition comprises a sterilized solvent and a sterilized antibacterial agent dissolved in the solvent. The sterilized chlorhexidine article is disposed in the internal volume of the package. The sterilized chlorhexidine article has a Sterility Assurance Level of from 10to 10. The present disclosure also provides a method for sterilizing the chlorhexidine article.
