Abstract

Provided is an optical receptacle () having an installation plane (), an optical plane, and a reference plane (). An inclination angle of the reference plane () with respect to the installation plane () is smaller than an inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the installation plane (). Then, a first inclination angle θthat is the inclination angle of the reference plane () with respect to the installation plane () and a second inclination angle θthat is an inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the reference plane () are measured. Then, the first inclination angle θis added to the second inclination angle θto calculate a third inclination angle θthat is the inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the installation plane ().
