Abstract
A laundry dryer () includes a rotatable drum (); a drying air fan for blowing air into the drum (); and an electric motor () configured for rotating the drum () and/or the drying air fan. A shaft () of the electric motor () extends towards the drying air fan and/or a drum transmission system. A seat () which is at least partially concavely formed is positioned at least partially below the motor shaft (). A draining device () is provided which is configured to allow liquid entering the seat () to be drained off.
