Abstract

A brake () includes a housing () formed from a first housing portion () capable of receiving a second housing portion (). The first housing portion () houses a piston () and a plurality of springs (), and the second housing portion () houses an alternating arrangement of discs () for enacting a braking function. The second housing portion () further includes torque pin holes () for receiving torque pins () therein. Each torque pin () is secured with a plug () to secure stationary discs (A,B,C) in place. The stationary discs (A,B,C) have extending ears () positioned between torque pin grooves (), which further receive the torque pins ().
