Abstract

A sewing machine having a device for manually changing a feed dog (), including the feed dog () and a feed-dog holder (). The feed-dog holder () is disposed in an arm bed () that is associated with the sewing machine, and the feed dog () is receivable in a clearance () of the feed-dog holder (). The feed dog () that is located in the clearance () has a support face () which may be disposed parallel with the surface of a sewn-product support which may contain a needle-hole plate () or be configured as a needle-hole plate (), the sewn-product support and/or the needle-hole plate () may at least partially be formed by the surface of the arm bed (), and the support face () may be received in an opening () of the needle-hole plate (). The feed dog () is fastenable in the clearance by a fastening element () or of a setting element () such that the support face () is alignable so as to be substantially parallel with the surface of the sewn-product support or of the needle-hole plate (). The fastening element () or the setting element () is releasably held in the feed-dog holder ().
