Abstract
A topical antifungal composition for treating onychomycosis includes a terbinafine and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in an amount of from 9% to 11% by weight of the composition, a hydroxypropyl chitosan in an amount of from 0.1% to 0.6% by weight of the composition, water in an amount of from 10.0% to 40.0% by weight of the composition, and a C-Calkanol in an amount of from 60% to 80% by weight of the composition.
