Abstract
The invention provides a method for providing horticulture light () to a crop (), the method comprising sideways illuminating the crop () with the horticulture light () of a lighting device (), the lighting device () comprising a grid () comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) () and a plurality of through holes (), wherein one or more of the plurality of LEDs () are configured to provide said horticulture light ().
