Abstract

The present invention is related to formulations consisting of block copolymers α,ω-di-aryl or alkyl sulfonates of poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide)of bis-ammonium and block copolymers α,ω-di-amine of poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide), that are effective in the dewatering and desalting crude whose specific gravities are within the range of 14 to 23°API.
