Abstract
A station () for inspecting rolled strips wound in coils, comprises: —a first pair of mutually opposed pinch rolls (), adapted to receive and feed a rolled strip () from a coil (); —a carriage () sliding between a first start position, near said first pair of pinch rolls (), and a second end position, said sliding carriage () comprising a gripping member to grasp said rolled strip () coming from said first pair of pinch rolls (), said carriage allowing the strip to be unwound without contact with a surface (S) to be inspected.
