Abstract

The invention relates to a sensor arrangement () for detecting a state of a road (), with a sensor device () which is designed to detect an impact of water () on a wheel arch lining () of a motor vehicle () while the motor vehicle () is travelling on the road (), and with a control device () for detecting the state of the road () on the basis of the impact of the water () detected by means of the sensor device (), wherein the sensor device () has a first and a second ultrasound sensor () which are designed in each case to receive an ultrasound signal and which are furthermore designed in each case to detect the impact of the water () on the wheel arch lining (), wherein the first and the second ultrasound sensor () are arranged apart from one another on or in the wheel arch lining ().
