Abstract

A system () for producing a security element (), in particular a vignette for a windshield () of a means of transport, is specified. This comprises a carrier element () with a first and a second surface, wherein a first sub-element () of the security element () is arranged in a first area () of the first surface and a second sub-element () of the security element () is arranged in a second area () of the first surface separated from the first area () by a fold edge (). These sub-elements () can be made to overlap with the first sub-element () by folding of the carrier element () along the fold edge () and can be adhered by means of an adhesive () arranged on the side of the second sub-element () facing away from the carrier element (). An individualization feature () can be attached to a side of the first () and/or the second () sub-element facing away from the carrier element (). Furthermore, a method for producing a security element () by means of such a system (), as well as a security element () obtained thereby, is specified.
