Abstract
A gaming device has a holding portion comprising a left side portion and a right side portion configured to detachably hold an electronic device that includes an input device located on a control surface of the electronic device and configured to receive user input. The gaming device includes a first input device configured to receive directional input, second through sixth input devices, a cross key configured to receive user input and located on the first surface of a left side portion, and an arrangement of four input buttons configured to receive user input and located on the first surface of the right side portion.
