Abstract
An iridium complex and an OLED using the same are shown. The iridium complex is represented by formula (I), wherein Ris substituted or unsubstituted Calkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted Caryl; Ris hydrogen, fluorine or —CF(m=1, 2 or 3), substituted or unsubstituted Calkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted Caryl; Ris hydrogen, fluorine or —CF(m=1, 2 or 3), substituted or unsubstituted Calkyl or alkoxy, and n is 1, 2, 3 or 4; each of Ris hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted Calkyl, or R's may join to form a Caromatic ring, and R's may be the same or different; X, X, Xand Xare each independently CH or nitrogen; Y, Yand Yare each independently carbon or nitrogen, with a proviso that at least one of Y, Yand Yis nitrogen, and the tridentate chelate Y^Y^Yis dianionic.
