Abstract
A centrifugal pump () includes a housing (), an impeller () that is rotatably disposed inside the housing (), a shaft () that has spherical surface-shaped shaft ends () at both ends in an axial direction, and bearings () that have spherical surface-shaped bearing surfaces () respectively and pivotally supporting the shaft ends (). In at least one of the bearings () disposed on both sides of the shaft () in the axial direction, a ratio of a radius of curvature of the shaft end () with respect to a radius of curvature of the bearing surface () of the bearing () is equal to or less than 85%.
