Abstract

A longitudinal adjustment mechanism () for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, includes at least one first seat rail () and at least one second seat rail () that is movable relative to the first seat rail (). A spindle () is associated with the first seat rail () and cooperates with a gear mechanism () associated with the second seat rail (). At least one spindle holder () secures the spindle () relative to the first seat rail (). At least one floor attachment connects the first seat rail () to a vehicle structure. The floor attachment and the at least one spindle holder () are separate components.
