Abstract

An organic electroluminescence device includes an anode, a cathode, and an emitting layer, in which the emitting layer contains a first compound, a second compound, and a third compound, a singlet energy S(M1) of the first compound and a singlet energy S(M2) of the second compound satisfy a numerical formula (Numerical Formula 1) below, an electron affinity Af(M1) of the first compound and an electron affinity Af(M2) of the second compound satisfy a numerical formula (Numerical Formula 2) below, and a triplet energy T(M1) of the first compound satisfies a numerical formula (Numerical Formula 3) below,(2)≥(1)×0.95  (Numerical Formula 1)(2)−(1)≥0.2  (Numerical Formula 2)(1)≤2.0  (Numerical Formula 3).
