Abstract
A phosphor layer contains phosphor particles, and satisfies the following relations: y≥0.0623x+0.2107x+28.789 and y≤−0.1172x+7.584x+81.148 where x represents the average particle size (μm) of the phosphor particles, and y represents the thickness (μm) of the phosphor layer.
