Abstract
The device has a target supply unitfor supplying a targetto a chamber, a target monitorfor monitoring the targetpresent inside the chamber, a laser light irradiatorfor irradiating the targetpresent inside the chamber, with laser light, and a controller. The target supply unitemits the targetat a timing for emitting, that is controlled by the controller, into a preset emission directioninside the chamber, and the controllercalculates an irradiation pointwith the laser light, calculates a timing for arriving of the targetat the irradiation point, and makes the laser light irradiatorirradiate the target with the laser light, based on the irradiation pointand the timing for arriving.
