Abstract

To provide an electronic percussion that ensures reproducing further faithful musical sound relative to a hitting operation by a player. An electronic percussionincludes a thin plate-shaped headat an opening formed into a shape of a cylinder with a closed bottom and respective pressure sensorand signal processing deviceon a bottom. A surface of the headconstitutes a struck surface. The headincludes a vibration sensoron the back surface. The vibration sensorincludes a pressure sensor pressing bodyon the pressure sensorside. The pressure sensor pressing bodyis formed to have a tapered shape whose outer diameter gradually thins from the vibration sensorside to the pressure sensorside. The signal processing deviceoutputs a musical sound signal representing a musical sound using respective detection signals of the vibration sensorand the pressure sensor
