Abstract
A device (), a method and a computer program detect an optical image and generate optical image data of a patient positioning device (). The device () is configured to detect optical image and generate optical image data of a patient positioning device () and to determine the position of at least two partial segments () of the patient positioning device () on the basis of the image data. The device () has, further, an interface () for outputting information on the position of the at least two partial segments ().
