Abstract
The invention relates to a design method of high-temperature nickel-based bolts based on damage tolerance theory, comprising the following steps: S: acquiring operating parameters for the design; S: selecting a material for bolts; S: acquiring mechanical properties of the materials; S: determining a pretension stress σof a single bolt; S: determining the service stress σunder the steady state; S: determining the number n, the effective cross-section area A and the distribution of bolts; S: determining a maximum allowable crack dimension; S: calculating the maximum allowable service stress σusing the crack propagation threshold Kat the design temperature; S: comparing the service stress σand the maximum allowable service stress σ, if σis smaller than σ, then the bolts are safe in the design life; otherwise, return to step Sand reduce the pretension stress σ.
