Abstract
A printable film that contains a base film substrate and an image receiving layer. The film substrate is a polyethylene terephthalate base film substrate that contains inorganic particles and that has an opacity ranging from about 50 to about 95. The image receiving layer comprises, at least, a polymeric network, poly-alkene polymeric compounds and inorganic compounds. Also disclosed herein is the method for obtaining the printable film.
